Since its opening in 1965 St Charles has been staffed by the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament in collaboration with Native Teachers and volunteers. In 1995, Sister Georgia Greene a sister of Mercy assumed the position of principal. Today the school is staffed by 3 sisters of Mercy, 4 Apache Teachers, and two Anglo teachers. Native persons also fill the positions of Secretary, Maintenance, Title 1,PE and music. Through a partnership with Save the Children, the school has a full time Director and instructor for their Accelerated Reader literacy program. Through this partnership the school is privileged to have four foster grandmothers who act as tutors and mentors for the children. Following is the list of our faculity:
